Our daughter Sadie has received tutoring from Ruth during her National 5 Maths qualification this year, and the support she received made a real difference. Before starting tutoring, Sadie was overwhelmed with what was expected of her and reluctant to ask for help in class. She struggled with several key topics. Ruth was able to assess where Sadie was in her learning, identifying both her strengths and areas where she needed more support. She explained concepts clearly and patiently, and gave Sadie helpful tips on remembering different methods. Ruth was always well prepared, encouraging, and incredibly supportive. As a result, Sadie's confidence has grown significantly. At her most recent parents' evening, her maths teacher was impressed by the progress she had made.
