Frequently Asked Questions
Find answers to common questions about our math sessions, pricing, and policies.
How much are the classes?
Regular group classes are priced at [£Price] per session. Because our class sizes are strictly limited to maintain high-quality teaching, payment is taken via a monthly subscription to secure your child's spot. A standard four-week month costs [£Price], which covers all live sessions, detailed lesson notes, regular assessments, and dedicated feedback.
How many students are in a class?
There is a strict maximum number of students per group class. Keeping the groups small ensures that every student receives personalised attention, has the opportunity to ask questions, and gets the dedicated support they need to truly understand the mathematical concepts being taught.
Do you offer a trial class?
Yes, absolutely! A trial class is available for all new students. This gives your child the perfect opportunity to experience my teaching style, interact with the group, and see how the sessions can help boost their confidence in maths before committing to a full month.
Where do the classes take place?
All of our interactive group sessions and one-to-one masterclasses currently take place online via Zoom. This allows students to learn comfortably and safely from their own homes while still engaging in real-time problem-solving and whiteboarding exercises.
Can I just pay for a couple of classes each month?
While you are welcome to start with a single trial class, ongoing enrolment requires a monthly commitment. Improving in maths demands consistency, structured practice, and regular attendance. Therefore, I am unable to accommodate students on a drop-in or sporadic basis, as it disrupts the learning flow for the whole group.
Can I join classes mid-month?
Yes, new students are always welcome to join mid-month if there is space available in the appropriate group. In this case, you will only pay a prorated amount for the remaining sessions in that current month, before effortlessly transitioning to the standard subscription cycle the following month.
Do you offer a subscription plan?
Yes, the primary enrolment method is a monthly subscription priced at . This all-inclusive plan not only covers the weekly live group classes but also grants access to comprehensive study materials, personalised progress reports for parents, and structured exam preparation tailored to the current curriculum.
What is your cancellation policy?
If you need to cancel your subscription, please notify us at least 24 hours prior to your upcoming renewal date. This ensures you will not be charged for the next billing cycle. Please note that refunds cannot be issued for cancellations made after the subscription has automatically renewed for the month.
Do you offer individual, one-to-one classes?
Yes, bespoke one-to-one tutoring sessions are available subject to schedule availability. These highly tailored, hour-long intensive sessions cost [£Price] each and are conducted via Zoom. They are ideal for targeted exam preparation or tackling specific topics your child finds challenging.
