1. About These Terms
These Terms & Conditions apply to the use of the Maths with Ruth website and to tuition, classes, programmes, downloadable resources and related services offered through the website.
By booking a lesson, joining a programme, purchasing a resource, or using a paid service, the parent, guardian or purchaser confirms that they have read and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
2. Tuition Services

Maths with Ruth may offer one-to-one tuition, face-to-face small group tuition, online group tuition, revision support, exam preparation and digital learning resources. Availability, class size, dates, times, prices and programme content may vary by service.

The details shown on the relevant tuition or programme page at the time of booking form part of the agreement between Maths with Ruth and the purchaser.
3. Booking & Payment

Bookings are subject to availability.

Where payment is required in advance, a place is not confirmed until payment has been successfully received.

For recurring or monthly programmes, payment dates and the number of payments will be shown before purchase.

If a payment fails, access to the relevant class, programme or materials may be paused until payment is successfully completed.

Parents or guardians are responsible for providing accurate contact and payment information.
4. Attendance, Cancellations & Missed Lessons
Students should attend lessons on time and be ready to participate.

Monthly group subscriptions should be cancelled at least 24 hours before the next renewal date.

Missed group classes are not eligible for a refund, credit or individual make-up session.

One-to-one lessons require at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule.

A one-to-one no-show may be charged at the full lesson fee.

Trial classes are paid in advance and trial no-shows are non-refundable.

5. Online Classes & Technical Requirements

Students are responsible for having a suitable device and reliable internet connection for live online lessons.

Any joining links, passwords or class access details are for the registered student only and must not be shared.

Maths with Ruth cannot be responsible for a student's local internet, device or software problems.

Students should join classes using the name associated with their booking where possible.

Unless expressly permitted, students must not record, copy or redistribute live classes.
6.Educational Results Disclaimer
Maths with Ruth aims to provide high-quality teaching, guidance and exam preparation. However, no particular grade, exam result or academic outcome can be guaranteed. Results depend on many factors, including attendance, effort, prior knowledge, independent study and individual circumstances.
7.Privacy, Cookies & Personal Information
Personal information is handled in accordance with the Maths with Ruth Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. Where a student is under 18, a parent or guardian should complete bookings, payments and account registrations on their behalf.
